• Be aware! If a company doesn't want to come out and complete a free home survey to provide a quote for your move be worried. You could be in for a surprise on the move day when a company turns up with a van or lorry that’s too small and/or try to charge you more money on the day of your move. • Look after your movers! If possible, keep the kettle unpacked until very last. Your movers will appreciate a break from time to time. A packet of biscuits or a bacon sandwich always go down well too. Removal companies work very hard on any move day.
